The costs for website hosting is simple. We only offer 4 plans, and 90% of our customers fall under the second plan. The only reason one of the other plans would be needed is if your website is a high volume website. High-volume websites (ones with lots of website traffic), are often resource intensive, and usually cost more to operate and store, as well as additional maintenance.

Hosting packages are based on speed, how many files will be transferred/downloaded, and how many people are hosted the particular server. The higher the price, the more resources that are allocated for that website. Not all websites need that many resources; so we give recommendations based on what we think you will need. Don't worry, if you get a hosting package that is too small for your needs, we don't charge you extra, we will simply notify you when it's time to move up to a bigger plan.

Here are the main differences in our hosting packages:

Level 1 (Basic): Small website, blog, mom & pop website giving information about the company, directions, showing products, etc. These websites are allocated less resources because they don't need more than what they will be using.

Level 2 (Standard): This is for a small to medium-sized company with a website that has information, Usually more than 10 pages of content, and receives regular recurring traffic; usually a much higher volume than people on Level 1.

Level 3 (Advanced): This is for any business that has high volume traffic, as described in Level 2, but also has lots of downloadable pages, a forum or guestbook, etc., and other additions which are resource-intensive. This is a plan we recommend large national companies be on, or local businesses that do receive lots of traffic and have lots of downloadable files.

Level 4 (Premium): This level is allocated the most resources, and usually is what we use for large shopping cart websites that have a high volume of visitors and sales. Contact us for pricing if your website requires more resources.
